Extra stadium info – Arena BRB
The Arena BRB was named Estádio Nacional de Brasília Mané Garrincha. The former stadium name was a homage to the football legend Manuel Francisco dos Santos, who won the prestigious FIFA World Cup with the national football team of Brazil in 1958. He also won the following edition of the tournament in 1962. The venue named Arena BRB hosted seven games for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. One of those games was the third place match. The match was won by the national football team of the Netherlands after defeating Brazil.
