The Amon G. Carter Stadium, nicknamed Hell’s Half Acre, is owned by the Texas Christian University. It is among the largest sports venues by capacity in Texas. The stadium opened in 1930 with a capacity of 22,000. It has been the home of the American football team of the TCU Horned Frogs since 1930. They perform at the highest level of intercollegiate American football in the United States.
