The construction of the venue started in 2004 and its construction costs were $35 million. In 2006, the stadium opened as the PAETEC Park with a match of the Rochester Rhinos. 13,000 people attended the football game. The Marina Auto Stadium is known as a venue for several events, like American football, concerts, field hockey, field lacrosse, men’s football and women’s football. The Rochester Ravens and the Western New York Flash, both former football clubs, used the stadium for multiple home games. The Rochester Rattlers played numerous field lacrosse matches at the stadium.
