The construction costs of the Gillette Stadium, which is located south west of Boston, were $325 million. It is known as a venue for several events, like American football, concerts, field lacrosse, football, ice hockey, monster truck events and supercross. The stadium is the home of the New England Patriots and the New England Revolution. Both clubs have been tenants of the venue since 2002. The New England Patriots won the Super Bowl various times. They signed Thomas Brady, the first American football player with 1 million followers on his main social media page, in 2000. He is generally regarded as one of the best American football players ever. The New England Revolution, the first football club from Massachusetts with 100,000 followers on its main social media page, are the other tenants. In 2002, 61,000 people attended their first-ever MLS Cup final in Foxborough.
