The construction of the Yale Bowl Stadium started in 1913. It is the home of the American football team of the Yale Bulldogs, one of the most successful intercollegiate American football teams. The Yale Bowl Stadium also hosted home games of the former North American Soccer League side Connecticut Bicentennials and the National Football League side New York Giants.
