The Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium is known as a venue for several events, like boxing, concerts, football, rugby league and rugby union. Queens Park Rangers Football Club use the venue for home games. The football club was founded in 1882. QPR moved to their current home in 1917. The stadium’s record attendance of 35,000 was set in 1974, when the Queens Park Rangers played against Leeds United Football Club. In 1976, QPR were runners-up in the English top-flight football league. They finished one point behind Liverpool Football Club that year. QPR drew an average home attendance of 23,000 during that league season.
