Extra stadium info – Centre Court

The Centre Court is known as the main court for Wimbledon, the oldest tennis tournament in the world and widely considered the most prestigious. The court, which has a retractable roof since 2009, was one of the venues for the Games of the Olympiad in 2012. The Scottish tennis player Andy Murray, one of the first tennis players with 1 million followers on his main social media page, won a gold medal at the Centre Court.
