The construction of the Swiss Life Arena started in 2019. The ZSC Lions use the venue for home matches. The club was founded in 1930. In 1936, they were crowned Swiss ice hockey champions for the first time in their history. The Lions won the Swiss top-flight ice hockey league various times.
