The stadium hosts the home games of Debreceni Vasutas Sport Club. On 22 May 2014, the stadium hosted its first game of the national football team of Hungary. They drew 2-2 with Denmark in front of 20,000 fans. In 1938, the national football team of Hungary reached the final of the FIFA World Cup for the first time in their history.
