Extra stadium info – Sparda-Bank-Hessen-Stadion

The construction costs of the stadium, which is also known as a venue for rugby union, were €25 million. It opened with a football match between the Offenbacher Kickers and Bayer Leverkusen. 15,000 people attended the game. The Offenbacher Kickers football club was founded in 1901. They won the DFB-Pokal in 1970 for the first time in their history.
