Athletes with an annual pay of at least $80 million

Floyd Mayweather, who was born in Michigan, became the highest-paid athlete in the world. Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar became the three football players in the list with athletes with an annual pay of at least $80 million. Conor McGregor and LeBron James also made it into the list. The Argentine forward Lionel Messi won the FIFA Club World Cup several times with the Spanish side FC Barcelona. Cristiano Ronaldo, who was born on the island of Madeira, became the first man with 100 million followers on his main social media page. He won the FIFA Club World Cup with both Manchester United and Real Madrid. Neymar, the third football player in the list, won his first FIFA Club World Cup trophy with FC Barcelona in 2015. In 2017, he left the club for Paris Saint-Germain from France.
