The arena is also known as a venue for concerts, swimming and tennis. In 2017, the basketball team of Fenerbahçe won the EuroLeague at the Sinan Erdem Spor Salonu in front of 15,000 fans. The basketball teams of Anadolu Efes and Galatasaray use the venue for home games. They are among the major Turkish basketball teams.
