Besides football, the stadium is also used for athletics, concerts and rugby union. It hosted numerous home matches of the football club which is currently known as the Ceres-Negros, one of the first winners of the Philippine top-flight football league. They are among the first sports clubs from the Philippines with 10,000 followers on their main social media page. The stadium hosted the first game of the national football team of the Philippines in the Philippines with more than 20,000 people in attendance. In 2011, Neil Etheridge became the first player of the national football team of the Philippines who played in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League. The goalkeeper played with Fulham FC from the United Kingdom against OB from Denmark.
