Extra stadium info – National Stadium
The construction of the stadium, which is located in Shinjuku, started in December 2016. It is used for several events, like athletics, football and rugby union. The National Stadium became one of the venues for the Games of the Olympiad in 2020. The first sports match at the stadium was won by football club Vissel Kobe after defeating the Kashima Antlers. 57,000 people attended the game.
